bad credit record, how to get guaranteed credit card?
i have a bad credit record, due to dodgy contracts with 3g telephone network, some dodgy middleman told three i singed an open ended contract and they will send me monthly bills indefinitely. its such a paper tiger im ignoreing it for the mo. i need to transfer my current balance to another card for a couple of months, but i cant seem to get new credit, any suggestions or help would be much appreciated, thanks!
well first things first, stop applying for awhile, every time to attempt to get a new card or anything that checks your credit report, it marks a check AGAINST your credit regardless of the outcome.
Second maybe try your bank, a debt consolidation account or such, going in and talking to a banker will be a good idea, explain the situation….
I believe depending on your situation, you may be eligible for government aid, I am pretty sure but not positive but you have to look around, check out things for stuff like that at court house, maybe even the clerks at the sheriff dept might know..
