SBI Credit card Issue?
I previously resided at Maharashtra and before leaving my native I taken a SBI credit card (Year 2004)and used it for an amount for 3000+.As i shifted to Chennai(Jan 2005) i requested the SBI customer care to change my communication address several times as Iam not receiving the bills.After a period of time no communication from SBI end.Suddenly 2day(Nov 2008) i received a call from SBI stating that my account was over due with RS.40,000/-.Can anyone please suggest me now what do next?Iam ready to settled the actual bill amount but not the extra charges.
You must have record of transactions. You can ask for statement of
your account, verify particulars and if found any discrepancy take up the matter with the concerned authority. They must have sent
statement of your account at your old address in the past. Because after lapse of such a long time how they could contact at your new address?
